[FOWA 2009]: How People will use the Web in the Future

- Why not let the brower, who knows you, take care of stuff like logins, payments, etc?
- It would be more secure for user – and more fun for developers.
- Take OpenID right into the browser.
- The browser could get data of your friends from network sites and suggest them on your site, e.q. in email field
- Translation right in the browser
- Email right in browser (with email service of your choice)
- And lots of other neat stuff, like easy adding of maps, image editing, even web editing!
- you-centric computing / you-centric browsing
Expect stuff like this from Mozilla within the next 3 years. Exciting!
