Weblocate on the way…
Der Marc ist ein flotter Kerl. Nicht nur macht er das iPhone-App GottaGo bzw. Transport zur OpenSource-Software, auch hat er so schnell mal meine Weblocate-Idee gleich umgesetzt. Dankeschön! Ganz cool!
Jetzt muss nur noch jemand das App in den Store bringen… wer könnte, bitte? Wäre extremst toll. Denn ich glaube daran, dass dieses App effektiv ein Bedürfnis decken würde: Man bräuchte dann nicht mehr für jede Location-orientierte Anwendung ein eigenes App zu erstellen. 1x Weblocate installieren, beliebig viele locationorientierte Webapps nutzen.

Aber nicht nur das Logo wurde überarbeitet, auch der Schriftzug und die anderen Brands der Gruppe. Nur mit dem Smiley, der sich darin verstecken soll hab ich ein bisschen meine Mühe…

YouTube als MTV nutzen
Orli hat ein neues Projekt am Start. Aus meiner Sicht ist dies sein bisher bester Wurf:

Alle Welt liebt Youtube. Jede Minute werden über 10 Stunden Videomaterial auf Youtube hinaufgeladen. Mit TubeChannel gibt es nun eine Seite, die automatisch themenspezifisch ein Video nach dem andern zeigt, genau wie im TV. TubeChannel ist noch in Entwicklung und wird erst einmal als Music-Channel laufen. Es ist aber möglich, das in Zukunft weitere Channels zu weiteren Themen hinzuzufügt werden.
So kann tubechannel.ch ab sofort als Ersatz für MTV und Viva genutzt werden – und das ohne Werbeunterbrechung, ohne niveaulose Dating-Shows und ohne Promi-Gelabber. Einfach nur Musikvideo 24/7. Gut gemacht!

Ob Obama die Schikanierung der Senioren beenden wird?
Wie folgendes Beispiel zeigt, werden in den USA tagtäglich alte Leute schikaniert. Weder Obama noch McCain haben bisher eine Verbesserung der Situation versprochen – doch lest selbst:
Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their

into town and went into a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes.When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket.
We went up to him and I said, ‘Come on man, how about giving a senior
citizen a break?’ He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I
called him dumb. He glared at me and started writing another
ticket for having worn tyres.So Mary called him stupid. He finished the second ticket and put it
on the windscreen with the first. Then he started writing a third
ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the
more tickets he wrote.Just then our bus arrived.
We try to have a little fun each day now that we’re retired. It’s
important at our age.
